New Durham Police are advising residents to contact local police or NH Fish and Game if they notice any animals acting in the following manor:
Common signs of rabies among animals usually include an animal foaming and drooling at the mouth but other signs include staggering, appearing restless, acting aggressively, appearing friendly, a difference in barking or howling, exhibiting signs of choking, and on some occasions, animals will show no signs of rabies at all.
