Lodge Parking

TO:             CCVD Property Owners and Residents

FROM:       CCVD Commissioners

SUBJECT:  LODGE PARKING

Unfortunately, parking in front of the Lodge is out of control.  During the winter months, parking directly in front of the Lodge is prohibited unless there is a snow storm.  As stated in previous memos, parking in front of the Lodge is for TEMPORARY PARKING DURING SNOW STORMS ONLY.  Once the storm has passed and the roads are plowed, you are required to move your vehicle to your property. This area is typically used for those residents living above the Lodge that may have difficulty driving the upper portion of Mountain Drive or other steep roads during a snow storm.

Between the snow mounds that will continue to accumulate and the size and number of vehicles currently in front of the Lodge, it is and will continue to impact the right of way.  In order to ensure safe access for residents, emergency vehicles and plow prep, we must keep the area in front of the Lodge and maintenance shed clear.  This area cannot be used for parking of RVs, campers or trailers. Any vehicle that is parked long-term in front of the Lodge is subject to being towed at the owner’s expense.   It is important that the owner of the RV currently parked in front of the Lodge contact us as soon as possible at 2015ccvd@gmail.com.

As for the boats and trailers across from the Lodge, you are only allowed to park there if you have completed a parking application.  Please email 2015ccvd@gmail.com for a copy of the parking application.   If you have not submitted a parking form, you too are subject to towing at your expense so please complete the form and forward to us at 2015ccvd@gmail.com within the next few days.

In closing, CCVD has very few guidelines regarding parking, and all we ask is that they be  followed so we can ensure safe road access for CCVD residents and their guests as well as a clear area in front of the lodge and maintenance shed.

Thank you for your cooperation.
