Library Pandemic Closure

To our Library family:

The library will be closed as long as the public schools are, which includes all classes, programming, and meetings. Individual staff members will be inside the building most days; in the interests of everyone's health, please do not expect staff to answer the door or provide services.

Beginning Wednesday, March 25, we ask that you keep any materials you currently have out at home, as the Book Drop will be closed at that point. Don't worry about any overdues - we are in the process of pushing out due dates and card expirations.

We can be reached at newdurhamlibrary@gmail.com seven days a week. Phone messages left at 859-2201 will be answered periodically. Check our Facebook page at New Durham Public Library for trustworthy information and links to activities you can do at home.

Please remember the many online resources you can access from our website at newdurhamlibrary.org. In addition to OverDrive with its ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines, the family research site HeritageQuest will be available to patrons for a limited time for free from their home computers. Please email us for login information.

Everyone stay well!

We miss you,

New Durham Public Library staff and Trustees
