Library Pandemic Closure

To our Library family:

Yay, come on in! Fifteen-minute appointments to browse and check-out items, or to use the computers, are available beginning April 19. Email us at newdurhamlibrary@gmail.com, or call us at 859-2201 to set one up. Limited to 5 family members per visit. Masking and social distancing will be maintained. Please use our hand sanitizer when you enter. You may arrive any time during the 15-minute slot, but, for everyone’s safety, will be asked to leave at the end of it.

We continue to provide all of the services we did in the past - you can reserve books online at our catalog (newdurhamlibrary.org) or by zipping us an email or calling us. Porch pick-up of checked-out items is available six days a week (M:11-3, T: 3-7, W: 2-6, Th: 11-3, F: 9-1, S: 10-1). Faxing, copying, and loaning of electronic devices are all available during porch pick-up hours.

We can be reached at newdurhamlibrary@gmail.com seven days a week. Phone messages left at 859-2201 will be answered during porch pick-up hours. Check our Facebook page at New Durham Public Library to find out all of the activities happening.

Please remember the many online resources you can access from our website at newdurhamlibrary.org. In addition to OverDrive with its ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines, the family research site Ancestry.com will be available to patrons until June for free from their home computers. Please email us for login information.

Everyone stay well!
